This pedal is equipped with:
Knobs
-Boost: to adjust the desired amount of gain.
-Headroom: to adjust the transistor bias, which affects the output headroom.
Switches
-Spectrum: to select the frequency to be boosted, with options for top (treble), mid, and full (adding bass response).
-Atomic elements: to choose the type of transistor based on its chemical element: germanium and silicon.
-Footswitch: This pedal features a digitally controlled true bypass relay system. What makes this feature special? Say goodbye to click/pop noise! Not only that, there’s also a smart momentary bypass/unbypass feature. Simply press and hold the footswitch for 20ms, and the pedal will automatically enter smart momentary mode. Release it to return to normal mode. Sounds very 21st century, doesn’t it?
Power Supply:
Since the transistors used is of the PNP type, it requires a negative voltage to operate. This can be quite inconvenient because currently, 99% of pedal effects use positive voltage, making it extremely difficult to find a power supply unit that specifically provides negative voltage. That’s why we also provide a voltage inverter circuit that automatically converts standard power supply into a negative supply internally.
